Isaac's First Run

We were so thrilled about my boy's first run that we decided to book a hotel room nearby to make sure we are on time for the run, and we did. The short stay at Swissotel the Stamford was sweeten by the nice gesture of an upgrade to their grand room with 2 balconies on the 17th storey. The room was huge and came with a living area, perfect for group gathering when our friends came to join us after the Cold Storage Kids Run on Sunday.

It's the first time we are participating in the Cold Storage Run and although I expect a huge turnout, I was pleasantly surprised to find a bearable turnout of 5000 participants in several categories which made each run smoother. I was prepared to carry Isaac throughout the run since he has been quite lazy to walk on his own lately. So imagine my pride and joy to see my boy running most part of the 800m Sunny Family Chase himself (good job, Isaac!). He enjoyed the crowd, the cheering, the attention and sheer fun so the event was perfect for him.

We hung out with his two older buddies and their parents after the run, eating, bathing, swimming and all. It was a nice weekend for our family and we like it;)
